• Altitude: Leh (11,562 ft / 3500 m)

The trekkers' adventure officially begins on this day, as they travel from their separate locations to Leh. On this day, the hikers will relax and acclimate to the high altitude after reaching Leh. Trekkers who like to learn more about the customs and culture of the area might visit monasteries and historic temples once they have slept. When the day is over, they may also savor the local food before going to bed.

• Altitude: Leh (11,562 ft / 3500 m)

Since it takes time for the body to acclimate to the shift in altitude, the trekker would use this day to do so. Whether you want to go sightseeing or work out, Leh has a lot to offer. touring the villages or gompas, going to temples and monasteries, or enjoying Ladakhi food. Before continuing, the hikers might partake in some of these activities while they are in Leh.

• Duration: 6 hrs

• Altitude: Karzok (13,450 ft / 4100 m)

The trekkers would start their journey today; they would be traveling by road. On the Leh-Manali highway, the trekkers will be traveling along the picturesque route. The drive is nice because they can see the Indus River flowing along the river and get a glimpse of the Chang Tang's vast plain. When the trekkers arrived in Karzok, they would be taken to the Hotel and given a hearty meal.

• Altitude: Karzok (13,450 ft / 4100 m)

Due of the higher altitude, the trekker's body needs to adjust. This day would also allow the hiker to visit the stunning turquoise Tsomoriri Lake. Take in the breathtaking views of Golap Kangri, Parcha Kangri, and other mountains. This is what the hiker should use to help their body adapt to the fluctuating oxygen levels and severe altitude. Take lots of walks today and explore the surrounding areas, and then at night.

• Duration: Approx. 2 hrs

• Altitude: Karzok Phu (14,760 ft / 4500 m)

Known for the Nomadic Festival of Ladakh, Karzok Phu is the starting point of their brief climb. Additionally, it is close to Tsomoriri Lake, which makes it an ideal location for camping. Yaks or goats grazing in the expansive grasslands and Mentok Kangri are visible to the trekkers as they arrive at the Campsite. The hiker would be able to adapt to the shifting temperature and altitude throughout the day. At this camping area, they would stay the night and sleep soundly.

• Duration: Approx. 6 hrs

• Altitude: Mentok Kangri Base Camp (17,220 ft / 5250 m)

The walk will be more difficult today than it was yesterday, and there will be an upward climb. Through the moraine, the trekker would experience a reduction in temperature and oxygen levels. As they approached the Peaks of Parcha Kangri and Golap Kangri, they would be departing from Tsomoriri Lake. The trekkers would require a good night's sleep to rejuvenate their bodies for the following day after the demanding journey.

• Altitude: High Camp (17,710 ft / 5400 m)

On this particular day, the hiker would be ascending the difficult portion by using ropes to ascend the headwall section. In order to help the trekker adjust to the high altitude, the Trekup India Team will help them use technical equipment. Early sleep would allow the hiker to rest and get ready for the summit trip the following day.

• Duration: Approx. 10 hrs

• Altitude: Mentok Kangri II (20,470 ft / 6240 m)

On this main trek day, the hiker ascends to Mentok Kangri II. The medicinal flowers that live up to the name are the main focus of Mentok Kangri. T The trekker would also have a broad perspective of Chamser, Parang La, and Tso Moriri Lake. After spending enough time at the summit, they would start the descent. 

• Duration: Approx. 5 hrs.

• Altitude: Karzok (13,450 ft / 4100 m)

On this final day of hiking, the hiker would rise early and eat a hearty meal. It would be the trekkers' final chance to take in the breathtaking views of Mentok Kangri II and the surroundings. After arriving at the Karzok campground, the hikers will spend the night in the hotel.

• Duration: 6 hrs

• Altitude: Leh (11,562 ft / 3524 mtr)

The trekkers will be driven back the same route they had taken to start their excursion. The DTS representative will pick up the trekker from the hotel and drop them off at Leh. The hikers had two options in Leh: Back to hotel or discover the local culture and sites.
