Mentok Kangri Expedition

Mentok Kangri is one of the mountains in Ladakh that is close to Tso Moriri. On the Rupshu plateau, Mentok Kangri II is the highest of the three peaks, and Changpa nomads live there. As the hiker ascends this peak, they pass the area covered in snow and ice and come across Tso Moriri. A trekker would also be able to observe additional peaks, such as Changthang Peak, Chamser, and Lungser Kangri. The term "mountain of flowers" (Mentok Kangri) refers to the three peaks of Mentok Kangri in Tibetan. In comparison to previous expeditions, this walk is among the easiest to reach the top; yet, it requires prior knowledge and physical fitness.
